The delightful joy of noticing what's what. Like be here now.

Thank you for commenting, Pam.

Exactly. Be here now. So simple!

But why settle for simplicity when there are words to play with? :)

What is being attempted here now is enhancing the capacity of mind to be fully present with the apparent immediacy of what's happening, while discounting the mental assumptions and conclusions projected by the innocently indoctrinated conditioned mind upon said apparent immediacy. :)

I hope you're laughing.

Glad to see that you have taken your writing to the next level. I'll be looking out for the Oxford commas. Oh yeah - love the photo (wink, wink).

Yes, one small step toward writing more publicly, and one big step for this mind that has wanted to share more openly, but not acted on that want for many years.

My apologies, Trish. I used the image you captured as my profile image without checking to be sure it was okay with you AND without giving you credit. How remiss! Thank you for so graciously bringing this to my attention. Please let me know what I can do to make this right. I'll gladly pull the image if you prefer.

I don't know when you took this photo. Clearly, after you had gifted me the Greek fisherman's hat, and that was a while after our sail from Connecticut to North Carolina. In any case, it is a great image and I'm not finding a way to properly credit you for it.

I think it was Lisa Nichols who wrote in her book, "You Can Overcome Every Obstacle . . . No Matter What!" about "failing forward." Perhaps that is what I'm doing here - fumbling my way forward, failing to be as mindful as I'd like - going back to make things right, as best as I can, one oversight at a time.

I’m pleased with that image of you and feel like I captured your “essence”. As a one-time aspiring photographer, I love it when that happens! (You write beneath it in little, tiny, letters: Photo Credit - Trish Monnett Hayes ;) or not LOL) What an amazing sailing adventure bringing Amor home with little Dink-a-Doo tagging along behind... extraordinary memories made. xo
